As a locally owned business, giving back to the community is one of Megan’s main priorities. In addition to supporting the local schools and churches, the Irish Connoisseur contributes to other foundations such as The Cradle, House of Good Shepherd and Misericordia. On April 18, 2010, Catholic Charities and Cooke’s Manor presented the Irish Connoisseur and Megan with the “Gift of the Spirit” award at their annual fundraiser brunch in recognition of her continued support.
