Anu – Claddagh Weave Ring

The early history of the Claddagh dates back over 400 years to a small fishing village nestled on the shores of Galway Bay where a seafaring Spanish goldsmith fell in love with a girl from the Claddagh village and crafted the first Claddagh ring for her.  It became a token of love, loyalty and friendship – the heart represents love, the crown signifies loyalty and the hands symbolize friendship.

  • Sterling Silver
  • Face from the bottom of the heart to the top of the crown: 10.5mm
  • Shank Width: 3.37mm
  • LOVE, LOYALTY, FRIENDSHIP inscribed to the back of the face inside the ring
  • Made in Ireland by Anu Celtic Jewellery and hallmarked at the Assay Office in Dublin Castle
